LOCAL ARTIST ON “HGTV’S DESIGNER’S CHALLENGE

Cathy Dilger of Sparta, New Jersey will have her company Selective Elements decorative painting featured on HGTV’S Designer’s challenge this month.  Designer’s Challenge is a television show about 3 Interior Designers who compete to win the approval of a homeowner to design and furnish a room in their house. The episode will air November 17th at 9:30pm on HGTV.  Cathy is pictured above with winning interior designer Tere Bresin of Beret Design in Montclair. Cathy is one of the many talented artists and vendors to be part of the group that pulled together the beautiful dining room and foyer that won over the homeowners and also the “Designer’s Challenge”.

Cathy’s company Selective Elements of Sparta has been creating beautiful interiors finishes in the tri-state area for homes, country clubs and restaurants for 12 years. Cathy’s prior experience as an interior designer has contributed greatly to her success.

Some of Cathy’s public work includes the Madison Hotel in Morristown, Perona Farms in Andover, Mountain Ridge Country Club in West Caldwell and Newton Country Club in Newton. Cathy’s company Selective Elements has been published in numerous publications including New Jersey Monthly, Savvy Living, Design NJ, The Star Ledger and The Bergen Record.

Selective Elements specializes in custom decorative finishes ranging from simple glazes to fine European plasters and frescos for interior walls, floors and ceilings.
